We are particularly pleased to welcome Alix to Godliman, whose arrival represents two milestones for us:

First of all: she will work closely with Alice Harris in a job share partnership.  This means that they will both work part-time to cover one full-time role.  This is the first time we have implemented a job share partnership at Godliman.  We feel that job sharing is an often-overlooked way to increase diversity in the workplace – particularly within the Asset Management sector; and it is something that we encourage our clients to consider when appointing senior roles.  As part of our commitment to diversity, both for our clients and for ourselves, we feel it is important for us to walk the walk ourselves.

Secondly: Alix is a Dutch citizen and so is our first continental-European employee, albeit a long time resident of the UK.  She is fluent in Dutch, German and French, which will allow Godliman to execute local Searches more effectively across Northern and Central Europe.

Alix has an extensive background in Market Research, with over 13 years’ experience across a diverse range of organisations including American Express, The Research Business International and KAE Marketing Intelligence.

She started her career in 1993, as a Research Manager focusing on international consumer and B2B market research, particularly  within the EMEA region, working with brands such as Unilever, British Airways and Gillette.   From 2008 onwards, she worked part time on a number of projects, including founding a Recruitment and Training Agency for domestic help, as well as continuing work as a freelance market researcher and fundraising for the Ormiston Families charity.  She graduated in 1992 with a BA (Hons) in German and French from the University of Exeter.
